Road to blogtown
When I have something to say, I'll say it here.
"The Bastard Gods" is now edited. I have a complete novel. Thanks for Keri Karandrakis for her excellent work making this a novel I'm proud of. So what's next?
Next is the cover. I've made my own for three reasons. First, Createspace really doesn't exist anymore as it once did, having been swallowed by Amazon. They made the first two covers, which match. I wanted the third cover in the series to match as well, but the people who made it are no longer there. Second, since becoming a professional photographer my Photoshop skills have improved dramatically. Making a cover to match "Black Sea Gods" and "Tears of the Dead" wasn't that difficult. Third, I didn't want or need to pay the $$ I did in 2013 and 2011 to create a quality cover. My new cover is good, it matches the previous books, and I'm pleased with it. I'll debut it right here in July.
I also have to make some maps. Once again, my Photoshop skills are up to the task. I also have to get some new ISBNs, and update the glossary of terms. Other than that, it's ready.
I'm still on track for an August debut. Keep checking back for updates. I will begin posting teaser excerpts here as the debut draws closer.
Thanks for sticking with me. I know it's been a long wait. If you just stumbled on this blog and have no idea what I'm talking about, you can begin the series here.
